Radices is a Huesca-based group that has been working on their debut album for several years. The work, titled 'Casa Nuestra', is a collection of nine songs that claim the roots of the land and the defense of the Aragonese language. The group is composed of Lorién Sierra, vocalist and guitarist, Julia Sierra, guitarist, Ana Puey, saxophonist, Sofía Comín, bassist, and Rubén Correia, drummer. The recording of the album took place at La Era Estudios, in the town of Fonz (Huesca), between February and March. The group financed the production of the LP through a crowdfunding campaign in which they offered merchandise from the group in exchange for donations. The album combines roots music with cultural reclamation and social commitment that reflect the influences that Radices has fed on. The album will be available on streaming and physical format from July 3rd at the Edén de Huesca hall. The group already has several dates closed to present the album live. The goal is to show the work live and transmit nuances and emotions difficult to reproduce in a recording.
