The 42nd Huesca Book Fair dedicated a space to university textbooks, a less known modality by the general public but fundamental for academic formation and knowledge dissemination. The event, organized by the Huesca Campus of the University of Zaragoza, allowed to review the trajectory and evolution of the Textos Docentes collection of the University of Zaragoza Press, as well as to present some of its most recent publications. The session counted with the participation of professors Alejandro Quintas, from the Faculty of Human Sciences and Education, and Cristina Fernández, from the Faculty of Business and Public Management, authors of several of the latest novelties incorporated into the catalog, accompanied by Juan Rodríguez, communication manager of the campus. Both explained the content of some works linked, respectively, to the field of technology and digital games applied to education and mercantile law and contracting from the perspective of administration and business. From the University they remembered that these manuals are born with a clear formative purpose for students, although they can also be of interest to anyone who wants to deepen in specific matters thanks to their didactic character and the specialization of their contents. The Textos Docentes collection began its journey in 1989 with the publication of Ideas and policies in the Spanish economy in crisis, by José María Serrano. Currently it gathers 336 titles, distributed in five large areas of knowledge: Technology, Biomedical Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities and Exact Sciences. The wide thematic range of the collection was reflected in some of the titles cited during the presentation, among them Topography applied to archaeology, Chinese course, Chinese writing, Ultrasound for surgeons, Easy Arabic, Artistic education in the image society, Geriatric nursing or Ethnogeriatric and self-exploration: tools for the end of racism in health. The Huesca Campus has a prominent presence within this editorial initiative thanks to the contributions of several dozen teachers and researchers. Among them are works such as Educational practices in inclusive scenarios, by María Jesús Vicén and Elías Vived; Physical activity and adapted sports for people with disabilities, by Sonia Asún; Agricultural interest plants, by Joaquín Ascaso; Recreational sports in nature, by Susana Lapetra and Roberto Guillén; or Musical language for teachers, by Susana Sarfson. The presentation also served to make known some of the latest novelties, such as the reedition of Educational theory on technology, game and resources, by Alejandro Quintas, focused on the didactics of infant education, and the new editions of the volumes of Mercantile Law and Introduction to Law, by Cristina Fernández. Among the publications incorporated in the last months stand out equally the manual of Epidemiology by Javier Santabárbara, adapted to disciplines such as odontology, nutrition and medicine, and Motivational strategies for teachers in physical education, signed by Ángel Abós, Javier García Carzorla and Javier Sevil, fruit of a research project developed in the last years.
